Glee is back on FOX tonight after the show’s latest American Idol-induced hiatus. Before the three week break the show left us hanging with tons of questions. What will happen to Will and Emma’s relationship after Emma left Will at the alter? Is Rachel’s catching of the bouquet a sign to come? Will Jake lose Marley to Ryder?
Newbie Jacob Artist, who plays Jake Puckerman on the show, gave TV Guide a sneak peek at what’s to come in tonight’s episode.
“You’re going to get a taste of all the repercussions of what we saw — Ryder kissing Marley at the end of that last episode. Jake doesn’t know yet,” Artist told TV Guide. “So it’s going to be dealing with him finding out and how that will affect their relationship. That’s all going to be explored.”
As for musical numbers, we already know that the New Directions will be performing “Shout!” thanks to all the television promos, but what other songs will be sung?
“The girls are doing “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” Artist leaked to TV Guide. “We’re doing “Unchained Melody,” which is really cool because I love that song. Oh, and we’re doing “Good Time Rock and Roll” and it’s hilarious. We have the iconic pink button-downs, the underwear, the socks…we’re sliding all over the place. It’s great. It’s me, Chord and Blake.”
Things are definitely going to heat up tonight when Jake finds out about Ryder and Marley’s kiss. After telling Marley he loved her, will the Puckerman in Jake come out when learning of the kiss? Is the bromance between Jake and Ryder going to end?
We’ll all find out when Glee celebrates its 500th song of the series tonight on FOX at 8:30c!
