‘Game of Thrones’: Emilia Clarke Regrets Watching Nude Scene with Her Parents

Emilia Clarke’s character Daenerys Targaryen recently had an empowering and dramatic scene in May 15th’s episode “Book of the Stranger” of HBO’s Game of Thrones, in which she emerged from a burning temple naked.

During an appearance on Live! With Kelly, Clarke discussed the scene and revealed that she actually watched the episode with her parents.

Her parents hadn’t been impressed with her character’s storyline this season. “They were kind of like ‘You’re not doing much this season’, so I told them to watch this one episode,” Clarke said.

“I ended up sitting them down and being like, ‘Let’s watch it’ — and then instantly regretting it,” Clarke continued. “My dad was like, ‘Again?’”
