‘Futurama’ Returns to TV in a ‘Simpsons’ Crossover

Futurama will return to television in a special crossover episode with The Simpsons in November.

The episode, titled Simpsorama, will feature the entire voice cast of Futurama, including voice actors Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr, Tress MacNeille, and Maurice LaMarche.

Simpsorama will be taglined in the opening credits as “a show out of ideas teams up with a show out of episodes”. “They were going off the air, so I thought people would really love it if we had one more chance to see those characters,” says Simpsons exec producer Al Jean.  The Futurama and Simpsons crossover episode will air on FOX on November 9th.

Another crossover that will air on FOX is the September 28th season premiere of Family Guy titled “The Simpsons Guy,” where the Griffin family travel to Springfield and meet The Simpsons. The hour-long crossover will also include a cameo appearance by Bob Belcher of Bob’s Burgers.
