‘Full House’ Revival May Be in the Works

Full House may be heading back to television. According to TV Guide, Warner Bros. Television is considering reviving the series with some of its original cast members.

John Stamos, who has an ownership stake in the show, is actively advocating for the return of the sitcom. The show’s creator Jeff Franklin would write the show and original executive producer Bob Boyett would also be a part of it. Candice Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber are on board with the project. Bob Saget and Dave Coulier would also be involved in some capacity. It is currently unknown if Mary-Kate or Ashley Olsen would be a part of the series.

Full House, which originally aired from 1987 to 1995, has been a ratings hit in syndication for Nick at Nite. The network reports that the sitcom averages 1.5 million viewers.

The show appears to be following in the footsteps of its fellow 90’s series Boy Meets World, which recently made a successful comeback with Girl Meets World on the Disney Channel.
