First Look at ‘Twin Peaks’: Cast Teases Revival
A revival of the 1990s drama Twin Peaks is heading to Showtime, and the cable channel released a behind-the-scenes first look featuring the show’s cast.
In the featurette, original cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Miguel Ferrer, Kimmy Robertson, Harry Goaz, Dana Ashbrook, and James Marshall discuss the new series. Newcomers to the series, including Amy Shiels, Jim Belushi, Robert Knepper, and Chrysta Bell, also appear in the video.
Some of the actors recall how they heard of rumors of the reboot and when they heard the official announcement of its return. A few glimpses of them filming on the set are shown.
“Prepare to be out of your comfort zone in the best possible way,” Bell says.
Twin Peaks, which is set 25 years after the end of the original show, will air as a limited series on Showtime in 2017. It was written and executive produced by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost.
