First Look at ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’

Netflix and Marvel have released the first full trailer for the upcoming 13 episode original series Daredevil. A fifteen second teaser was released on Tuesday promising a new trailer.  The following day, Netflix and Marvel made good on their promise delivering an exciting first look at the newest addition to the Marvel Universe.

Daredevil follows Matt Murdock, a lawyer blinded as a child, as he becomes a night time crime fighter with heightened senses. Charlie Cox from Boardwalk Empire will star as Daredevil with Vincent D’Onforio as his nemesis King Pin and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

Daredevil is the first installment of Marvel’s The Defender franchise which will include a separate series for Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage in 2015 with plans for all four characters to unite in a Defenders mini-series.

The trailer is both dark and action packed and shows Daredevil’s thrilling efforts to “make my city a better place.”

 All episodes of the series will be available on Netflix in just two months on April 10th.
