Dr. Conrad Murray has been found GUILTY in the death of pop-singer Michael Jackson.
After ten hours of deliberation, the seven men and five women that made up the jury came to the conclusion that Dr. Murray is found criminally negligent in his use of the anesthetic propofol to treat Michael Jackson’s insomnia.
During the trial jurors heard from 49 witnesses over the 23 days.
Katherine Jackson stated that Michael’s children did not watch the verdict live so their grandmother can notify the children of the trial’s results when she returns back home.
Conrad Murray will face up to four years in prison.
