Girl Meets World may not be premiering on the Disney Channel until June 27, but Disney has already released the pilot for fans to watch via their WATCH Disney Channel streaming service.
Anyone who subscribes to the Disney Channel through a participating service provider can watch the episode. The pilot follows Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga’s (Danielle Fishel) pre-teen daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) as she tries to find her own “world.” Multiple new characters are introduced including Riley’s best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), her love interest Lucas (Peyton Meyer), and an annoying classmate named Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis).
Many fans have already taken to Twitter to express their approval of the Boy Meets World spinoff. Fishel tweeted her excitement:
