Dan Patrick to Host ‘Sports Jeopardy!’ Game Show

Emmy-winning sportscaster Dan Patrick will become the sports world’s version of Alex Trebek when he starts hosting a sports version of the popular game show Jeopardy this fall.

Sony Pictures announced on Tuesday that Sports Jeopardy! will debut on Crackle this fall and will be available on mobile devices and other services such as PlayStation, Xbox, Apple TV and Roku.  In addition to the show, there will be an app available where fans can play along in real time, so now you don’t have to scream out the answer at your television every time.

The new programming will diversify Crackle’s current portfolio, which is led by Jerry Seinfeld’s popular Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.

Sony Pictures did not announce a specific date when the show will premiere, but an announcement is expected to be made within a couple weeks.
