Chelsea Handler in Talks with Netflix For New Show

Chelsea Handler announced last month that she will be leaving her talk show show on E! at the end of the year, and  now the comedian may be heading to Netflix.

One source close to the talk show host said, “Handler has a deal with Netflix, but the format is to be decided.”

Handler expressed her unhappiness with E! on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show in March. Handler mentioned Netflix would be a good place to have a new gig, but the streaming service has denied being in talks with Handler.

Netflix does not have any live program shows yet, so if signed on, maybe Handler would begin a new category for the popular streaming site.
