“60 Minutes” veteran Andy Rooney has been hospitalized due to a serious condition involving surgery complications, according to the Associated Press.
CBS has reported that Rooney’s condition is stable and that no other details of his hospitalization will be released due to the family’s request.
The 92 year old Rooney signed off of CBS’s “60 Minutes” on October 2nd after 33 years and 1,097 essays written on the job. In his final essay Rooney stated, “I wish I could do this forever. I can’t, though.”
