Ben McKenzie Wants an ‘O.C.’ Reunion & We Do Too!
Back in the early 2000s, Fox’s The O.C. was one of the hottest teen dramas on television. The series also gave Ben McKenzie his breakthrough role as Ryan Atwood, a troubled young man who is taken in by the wealthy Cohen family. McKenzie, who currently stars on Fox’s Gotham, recently spoke to E! Online about the possibility of an O.C. reunion.
When asked if he would be reuniting with his former O.C. castmates anytime soon, McKenzie replied, “I don’t know. I saw Adam [Brody] recently, and you know, I hope so. He’s a great guy.”
Brody portrayed Seth Cohen on the show, and Seth and Ryan’s brotherly relationship was definitely one of the best parts of the teen drama. Even McKenzie agrees that Seth and Ryan’s bromance was amazing. When E! Online told him the site was going to be ranking the best television bromances, McKenzie said, “If Ryan and Seth are not the best bromance of all time, I’m gonna need to talk to the editor…”
Since McKenzie certainly isn’t opposed to a reunion, here’s hoping we’ll soon be able to see him, Brody, and other O.C. stars together again!
