Country Singer Luke Bryan will perform the national anthem at the 83rd Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 11 in Kansas City. Kellie Pickler will perform “God Bless America ” during the 7th inning stretch and “American Idol” season eleven winner Phillip Phillips will perform his song “Home” during a tribute that highlights the tornado recovery efforts in nearby Joplin, Mo. and Tuscaloosa, Ala. Habitat for Humanity will build nine new homes for low-income families effected in those areas.
The All-Star Game will air on FOX at 7:30 p.m. est/6:30 p.m. cst.
“Magic Mike”
“Magic Mike” will be adapted into a Broadway musical stage production.
Steven Soderbergh and Channing Tatum are planning a summer 2013 bow for “Magic Mike: The Musical.” They will produce the project with Gregory Jacobs, Nick Wechsler and Reid Carolin, who wrote the screenplay and will also write the book for the stage musical.
Soderbergh directed the movie, which stars Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer. “Magic Mike” is inspired by Tatum’s experiences as a male stripper in Tampa, Fla.
The film came in second place in its debut week to TED, which earned $39 million on its opening weekend.

“Katy Perry: Part of Me” is a 3D documentary-concert film centering on singer Katy Perry.
This film tells the story of the trajectory of Perry’s career as gospel singer Katheryn Hudson until the present day as pop singer and global superstar Katy Perry, bearing testimony from Katy (real name Katheryn) about her childhood, talking about the Teenage Dream era, with scenes from backstage of her last world tour while trying to take time to resolve personal problems, including her divorce from British comedian Russell Brand.
