HOUSTON (FOX 26) – Comicpalooza takes place at the George R. Brown Convention Center from Friday, May 25 until Sunday, May 27. Among the special guests at the convention will be actor George Takei, who portrayed Capt. Sulu on the “Star Trek” television shows and motion pictures.
The Free Press Summerfest will take place Saturday, June 2 and Sunday, June 3, at Eleanor Tinsley Park. Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, The Avett Brothers, Pretty Lights, Afrojack, and The Flaming Lips will be among the featured acts at the festival.
German industrial metal band Rammstein will perform live at Toyota Center on Friday, May 25, in support of the group’s new album “Made in Germany 1995-2011.”
The Justin Bieber Believe tour will stop in Houston at Toyota Center on Oct. 30, with singer Carly Rae Jespen as his opening act. His fourth album “Believe” will be released on June 19.
The roster of acts for the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival was released with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, The Black Keys, Jack White and Florence + the Machine.
