Adam Lambert’s name has been swirling around as a possible American Idol Judge for season 12.
The producers may be creating season twelve’s judge panel with Lambert in mind as their celebrity panelist for American Idol. Lambert was runner up in season eight and has been in the talks for over a month. The show’s producers think he is a perfect match. An unknown source reported to E! News that Lambert ” personifies the show and would be a popular source right from the start”. Lambert being a judge would know what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges comments, and has a “human touch, and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on”. People love Lambert and would bring a unique perspective to the show especially since they have competition with “The X-Factor” and “The Voice” this season.
As for our current Idol judges, Jennifer Lopez is reported to not have any interest returning for a third season as a judge. Fox is reported to attempt to change Lopez’s mind to stay on Idol since she appeals to a large audience and has kept the show #1. Although speculations about whether Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler and even Randy Jackson will be back next year.” Randy is great, but he is apart of old Idol” the source told E! News, and as for Tyler his presence seemed to diminished after season 10, “nobody is safe” suggested E!.
Idol is looking to freshen up its panel to compete against The Voices‘s celebrity panels of Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine.
