The 2014 Winter Olympics are upon us and now you can get an even closer look at the lives of Olympians thanks to social media. The 2012 Summer Olympics was considered the first “social” Olympics. Throughout its duration of 16 days, there were over 150 million tweets about the big event. Plenty of people will surely be talking about the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Here’s a guide to who you should be following:

Shaun White (@shaun_white): This U.S. snowboarder so far has been tweeting about his time in Russia, as well as what he has been listening to during his preparation for the games.
