VIDEO: Ray Rice Attacks Wife in Hotel, Suspended from NFL

Video footage has been released showing Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice knocking out his then-fiancée Janay Palmer inside of an Atlantic City Hotel & Casino.

Video surveillance inside the elevator shows what exactly took place on February 15th at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City where Rice was shown dragging his then-fiancée, now wife, on the floor unconscious.

Hotel surveillance shows the couple in a heated argument walking inside the elevator where it is apparent that Rice strikes Palmer first inside the elevator and Palmer attempts to hit Rice back. Rice then strikes Palmer in the face with his hand knocking her out cold and hits her head on the hand rail. When the elevator doors open, Rice drags Palmer’s unconscious body onto the floor.

Rice was only given a two game suspension for the incident.

Several hours after the new video was released early Monday morning, the NFL commissioner’s office said: “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.”

His contract was terminated by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday. The NFL announced he has been suspended indefinitely from the league.
