VIDEO: Lil Wayne Involved in Altercation After Mayweather Fight

Moments after the Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana fight on Saturday night, rapper Lil Wayne got involved in an altercation with one of Maidana’s trainers.

Sources say Lil Wayne was walking with Mayweather’s entourage into the tunnel at the MGM Grand after the fight Saturday night when a water bottle struck him on the shoulder from behind. Maidana’s entourage was walking closely behind Wayne and Mayweather’s entourage which lead Wayne to believe it was thrown by one of Maidana’s trainers, Robert Garcia.

Wayne immediately confronted the believed bottle-thrower and attempted to fight it out. Verbal chaos broke out between both entourages, but both Wayne and Garcia were separated before the brawl could progress any further. A short video captured Wayne and Maidana’s trainer being separated from each other. In the video you can hear Wayne shout out “Let’s go, [expletive]!” to Maidana’s entourage.
