Two NFL Players Named In Lawsuit Over Alleged Shooting

Two NFL players, Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith, were named in a lawsuit Tuesday by a man who was shot at a party that the two players attended last year, according to CSNBayArea.com.

According to the report, Walker and Smith were intoxicated while firing weapons numerous times during a party hosted by Smith at his California home on June 29, 2012.  The guns used at the party were illegally obtained. Smith was also stabbed at the party.

When Smith and Walker were ready for the party to end, they appeared on Smith’s balcony and allegedly began to fire shots into the air. Walker then moved to the driveway and continued firing into the air, even pointing the weapon at guests, according to the lawsuit.

The NFL players allegedly charged $10 for entry into the party and another $5 per drink.

After spending seven seasons with the 49ers, Walker signed with the Titan for four years.  Since then, he has worked with MADD in memory of his aunt and uncle, who died in a car accident leaving the 49ers and Ravens Superbowl this February.
