UPDATE: Kevin Durant Chooses Golden State Warriors
UPDATE: Kevin Durant signs with Golden State Warriors on a two year 54.3 million dollar deal. Second year is a player option.
With most big name players making their decisions, Kevin Durant has yet to decide which NBA team he’s going to sign with.
NBA free agency kicked off on July 1st and all eyes were on the former OKC Thunder forward. Durant has met with several teams including the San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, LA Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and the Thunder.
The Clippers have still managed to keep their core group together by signing Jamal Crawford on a three year 42 million dollar deal. A team with Kevin Durant would be massive for Lob City, but it looks they won’t have a shot. CBS Los Angeles announced that KD informed the Clippers that he will not join the team, instead considering other offers.:
Kevin Durant has reportedly informed the #Clippers that he will not sign with them.
He's considering: OKC, Warriors, Celtics, Heat, Spurs

The Boston Celtics have just signed former Hawks forward/center Al Horford to a 4 year 113 million dollar deal. Now they are pushing hard for Durant, hoping to add another piece during free agency. For the meeting, the Celts’ brought a future NFL Hall of Famer to encourage KD to move to Boston :

No matter what happens w/ Kevin Durant, NOTHING #Celtics could've done differently, from group contingent to Brady to Horford add. Be proud.

All the rumors are said to end as Kevin Durant is set to announce his decision today, with him choosing OKC or GS!
From what I understand, it's Thunder versus Warriors for Durant.

Hearing Kevin Durant is strongly considering Warriors. He meets Thunder tonight, then he's likely to announce decision on @PlayersTribune.

Durant spoke with Warriors executive Jerry West on the phone on Saturday about coming to the Bay Area, but Oklahoma City got to meet KD on Sunday to cap it off. Durant met with the Thunder on Thursday as well before free agency to discuss his future, and got their wish getting the last attempt to get the former MVP to stay.
