NFL and Microsoft have announced a partnership that will provide a new interactive experience for the Xbox One, Microsoft’s New Home Entertainment Console. The next gen console will deliver interactive NFL television experiences to the coaches, players and users at home.
NFL on Xbox will provide fans with an all-new viewing experience through integration of Skype and Xbox SmartGlass. Users will have a whole new experience with NFL on Xbox that will allow everything from streaming of games to live up-to-the-second information on players, teams, as well as breaking news users choose to follow.
The NFL’s new pairing with Microsoft has had more influence than just the home game console market. NFL on Xbox is a Microsoft-wide system that will be available for your Xbox, Windows phone, Windows Surface tablet, and other Windows devices. This new announcement is a monumental milestone for the NFL and Microsoft by providing new information to users in a unique way.
The partnership will also change the way NFL teams, coaches, and players receive information during a game as well.
Players and coaches will now be able to review in-game photos and videos directly from the sideline, allowing for fast replays and quicker sideline decisions. Coach’s sideline playbooks and papers will also be replaced with Microsoft Surface Tablets, providing a new way to share upcoming plays with players faster than ever.
Thanks to these new apps from Microsoft, the way we view NFL games will never be the same again.
