LeBron James Returns to Cleveland with No. 23

Sixteen days after returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, LeBron James has decided on a number.

After trying to decide between the numbers 6 and 23, James announced on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday that he would return to the Cavaliers wearing jersey number 23.

Included in the tweet was an Instagram post with photos of James holding his number 23 Cavaliers jersey from draft night, him wearing a newer version of a Cavs’ jersey and a photo of him in his high school jersey.

About ten days ago, James took to his fans on social media to help him decided which number he should wear for his return to the Cavaliers. The basketball player tweeted “6 or 23…”

For his four seasons with the Miami Heat and with the U.S Olympic basketball team, James wore the number 6, but all through high school and his seven seasons in Cleveland, he wore number 23.
