Today the Harrison twins from Richmond, TX announced their verbal commitment to Kentucky for the next four years. But what makes this duo so special? Andrew and Aaron Harrison are considered to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest, packaged deals in the history of college basketball.
Andrew, a point guard, and Aaron, a shooting guard, are ranked second and fourth in ESPN’s list of Top 100 prospects. Both brothers are considered the number one prospect in their respective position.
“We never thought about leaving each other in college,” Andrew said on ESPN. “We always knew we would play together.”
At 6’5″ 200lbs, both brothers are considered extremely lethal and skilled at their positions. Their size allows Andrew to contain any point guard in the backcourt while Aaron can shoot over smaller shooting guards.
