What a crazy turn of events Thursday when the Chiefs blew the lead to the Broncos. With nearly 30 seconds left in the game, the game was set for Kansas City to take the win at home. Coach Andy Reid made the decision for Jamaal Charles to run the clock instead of taking the knee, and unfortunately Charles fumbled the ball. The ball was knocked out by Brandon Marshall and returned for a touchdown by Bradley Roby. The final score was 31 – 24 in the Broncos near miracle win!
Now lets look at Sundays NFL match-ups that is sure to surprise just as much as Denver’s game this past Thursday.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS @ GREEN BAY PACKERS

Sunday, Sept 20th 7:30pm CST on CBS
A rematch of the NFC Championship game last season, and the best game this week. This type of match-up is the reason why people cant wait six to seven months for football to be back. The Packers didn’t give their best defensive performance against the Chicago Bears, and they’ve never been a great, or good , defensive team. Their bread in butter is all on the offense. With QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Eddie Lacy, and a core of wide receivers at your disposal you always have a chance to win on football Sunday. With that said, the Seattle Seahawks are a more balanced team on both sides of the ball. Their offense can go toe to toe with the likes of QB Russell Wilson and RB Marshawn Lynch manning the squad. Their defense is also more superior than Green Bays, and I don’t see the Seahawks starting the season 0 – 2.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS @ BUFFALO BILLS

Sunday, Sept 20th 12:00pm CST on CBS
Like I said in Week One, do NOT be surprised if the Bills come out with the win against the Colts. What an impressive performance by both teams in the start of the regular season. The Patriots dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first game of the season, and the Bills pulled out all the stops against QB Andrew Luck. Now with New England’s offense and Buffalo’s defense its like seeing an unstoppable force going up against an immovable object. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor impressed in his first game, now its time to show the NFL world if he’s the real deal!
DALLAS COWBOYS @ PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Sunday, Sept 20th 3:25pm CST on FOX
Unfortunately wide receiver Dez Bryant is down for the Cowboys, but it’s sure to be a great match-up. Dallas came out with a last minute win when QB Tony Romo shot a pass to TE Jason Witten, while Sam Bradford and the Eagles late run added up to a loss. While I still believe in Sam Bradford as a serviceable starting QB, the only way the Eagles get the win is by stopping Romo and attacking him any chance they get.
