This season former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be blocked from watching any NFL games while waiting in jail for his upcoming murder trial.
“While Mr. Hernandez and many other inmates would like to watch football, it is just not part of our policy here … so that will not be happening,” Sheriff Hodgson of the Bristol County Jail told TMZ.com.
Hernandez was not allowed to watch his former New England Patriots teammates take on the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, nor will he be allowed to watch any other NFL games for the rest of the 2013-14 NFL regular season.
The 23-year-old former NFL tight end is behind bars and awaiting trial for the murder of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
