2014 NFL Draft: Round One Draftees’ Walk-up Songs

The 2014 NFL Draft kicked off on May 8 with thrilling round one picks, including Justin Gilbert (No. 8 to the Minnesota Vikings), Taylor Lewan (No. 11 to the Tennessee Titans), Ryan Shazier (No. 15 to the Pittsburgh Steelers), Zack Martin (No. 16 to the Dallas Cowboys) and C.J. Mosley (No. 17 to the Baltimore Ravens), and a ton of upbeat hip-hop theme songs.

For the first time, players at this year’s NFL draft were allowed to pick their own song to play as they walked to the podium to be greeted by Commissioner Roger Goodell. Before the event, Texas A&M’s Mike Evans announced that he would make his entrance to the new and popular Drake track “Trophies,” while Clemson University’s Sammy Watkins said he was choosing between Wale’s “Ambition” and Rich Homie Quan’s “Finally Made It.” Check out the tunes the first round draftees picked for their big entrance below.

The 2014 NFL Draft will resume for rounds two and three on May 9, followed by rounds three through seven on Saturday, May 10.
