Will Smith to Star in His First-Ever Comedy Special on Netflix

Will Smith, The Fresh Prince himself, will be getting his very own comedy special later this year on Netflix. It it will be four hours and feature celebrity guests, musical performances, and more.

Many would consider this to be very fitting, as Smith has racked up a cool 53.9m followers on Instagram for his creative and hilarious skits he often posts. That’s more than his fellow industry peers Dave Chappelle (1.9m), Martin Lawrence (8.2m), and Gary Owen (1.9m) by a landslide. It’s safe to say that it’s his recent social media content that’s kept his popularity, along with starring in Bad Boys For Life in 2020.

Although this is a one time special at the moment, it would be no surprise if Smith lands a reoccurring gig based on the amount of viewers he may potential attract. We will be sure to keep you updated as more information is released.
