During a commercial break at the Tony Awards (Sunday night), James Corden – host of the Late Late Show – asked for attendees to join him for some “carpool commercial karaoke.”
Presenters Sean Hayes and Jake Gyllenhaal happily joined Corden on stage to sing an impromptu rendition of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
Hayes posted the epic clip on his Facebook page, writing, “During commercial breaks at The Tony’s tonight, the amazingly brilliant James Corden started up a Broadway-themed ‘commercial karaoke’. He asked for volunteers. Jake Gyllenhaal & I were happy to oblige with our rendition of ’A Whole New World’ from ALADDIN.”
