Watch: Ricky Gervais Revives ‘The Office’ Character In Hilarious Music Video

Ricky Gervais’ is bringing back the beloved character from Britain’s The Office, David Brent.

To help promote the BBC show’s movie spinoff, David Brent: Life on the Road, Gervais released a debut album, of the same title. The first single was released on Friday (July 1^st), called “Lady Gypsy,” with an accompanying music video featuring Brent in traveling gypsy gear.

#LadyGypsy is the first single off the #DavidBrent Album #LifeOnTheRoad. It’s a beautiful folk ballad about the day he lost his virginity.

“I lost my heart to a lady gypsy, so long ago I forget her name. But I still remember the smell of the flowers, the way my life would never be the same,” he sings.

Watch the music video below. David Brent: Life on the Road and the album debut on August 19^th (UK) and premieres on Netflix in the US in 2017.
