Watch Maroon 5 Crash Weddings for “Sugar” Music Video

On Wednesday, Maroon 5 debuted their music video for their song “Sugar”, but it’s not your average pop rock music video.

The band decided to crash weddings in L.A. for their music video “Sugar” and it is pretty cool! At the beginning of the music video Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine says “We’re gonna drive across L.A. and hit every wedding we possibly can.”

Maroon 5 crashed weddings that took place on December 6, 2014 with a film crew following them to help set up and surprise wedding guests at each venue. The brides and grooms from each wedding are told to stand in front of a white backdrop the crew had set up. Then the band reveals themselves in mid-performance once the backdrop falls.

“Sugar” was directed by Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin.
