Vince Neil, Palms Casino Resort in Bitter Twitter Battle

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – On the eve of a Motley Crue tour with KISS and the grand opening of a strip club named after a signature Crue song, original Motley Crue lead vocalist and Las Vegas resident Vince Neil is at the center of a Twitter feud with management at Palms Casino Resort.

Neil drew first blood online on March 28 when he posted the following messsage from his official Twitter account:

I love Vegas, but DO NOT GO TO LITTLE BUDDHA @palms IN VEGAS!! OMG RUDEST STAFF EVER!! Don’t go!!

The sentiment of dissastisfaction on Neil’s part continued Sunday as he tweeted the following complaint:

Do to recent events, including distrust and dishonesty at the executive level. I will never again step foot @palms property.

Despite the negative reference toward Palms, Neil did not levy any ill will toward the Maloof ownership group in a related Tweet:

It’s unfortunate because I have great friends @palms and I have a lot of respect for the Maloof family!!

Neil was quick to send a message to the Palms spring break clientele with the following comment:

If your a Spring Breaker I don’t recommend you go there! @palms doesn’t care about you!!

Early on Monday morning, Neil continued the Twitter barrage toward Palms with the following message:

@palms can say what they want. It’s all lie’s. F— the executives!! I’ll name names later!!

Beginning immediately after 12 a.m. Monday, the Palms Casino Resort Twitter account posted the following replies in consecutive fashion:

Mr. Neil has recently made negative comments about Palms on Twitter, however, he fails to mention his own actions.

As a result of Mr. Neil’s inappropriate behavior, he was asked to leave a restaurant at Palms.

Mr. Neil has also since called Palms personnel threatening negative publicity.

While we believe this is unfortunate, and would prefer that Mr. Neil put his efforts toward apologizing for his conduct, such threats will have no effect on Palms’ policies or its decision in this matter.

We at Palms take customer service very seriously, but we also take the well being of our team members just as seriously.

We cannot and will not allow our guests, no matter who they are, to mistreat our team members.

The following message was the final and resounding one posted from the Palms Twitter account:

As a result of his actions, Mr. Neil is no longer welcome at Palms.

In response to the final message posted on the Palms Twitter account, Neil responded with the following two consecutive retorts:

It’s funny how I’m BANNED from the @palms AFTER I said I don’t want to go there anymore!!
They are TWISTING the story around to make themselves look better! This is about executives @palms covering up for each other! Nothing more!

Neil then proceeded to repost Tweets from fans that supported his claims.

Robin Leach, host of “Vegas Deluxe” and Las Vegas Sun reporter, first shared the feud on Twitter when he reposted the gripes from both parties on his account.

The Neil-owned strip club, Girls, Girls, Girls, is scheduled to open to the public on April 13, and is within two miles from Palms Casino Resort.

Neil, along with his Motley Crue bandmates, will take part in a 40-date joint tour with KISS. The tour begins in July and ends in September. The two bands announced the tour during a March 20 news conference in Hollywood, Calif .

Of course, Neil is no stranger to notoriety in his adopted home of Las Vegas. He was arrested for driving under the influence in June 2010 but pleaded not guilty to the charge in October 2010 .

Neil, 50, was also charged in April 2011 with battery constituting domestic violence and disorderly conduct after an argument with an ex-girlfriend, the result of a March 24, 2011 incident.
