Vanessa Hudgens Comments on Cocaine Rumor

During an interview with Marie Claire, Vanessa Hudgens responded to the rumors of her alleged cocaine use.

While attending Coachella Music Festival in 2011, Hudgens was seen using a substance many had claimed to be cocaine (pictured below), but the former High School Musical star claims it was white chocolate.  She jokingly responded, “I guess that’s what the cool kids are calling cocaine nowadays.”

The starlet told Marie Claire, “I couldn’t do anything but laugh. It’s amazing how people like to create something out of absolutely nothing. I am human like everyone else. I am aware that there are people who look up to me. When mistakes are made, they aren’t intentional, and I constantly push myself to be a better person.”

With the rumors of cocaine abuse and the leak of nude pictures a few years back, the young star has felt the need to protect herself more.  “It’s one thing to have a chat with someone, it’s another to have them know your deepest, darkest secrets. Just because people enjoy watching you in films doesn’t mean they have to know everything about your entire life,” Hudgens added.
