Trent Reznor to Score David Fincher’s ‘Gone Girl’

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor announced on Tuesday that he will be scoring David Fincher’s upcoming film Gone Girl, along with his frequent collaborator Atticus Ross. The film is an adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s novel, Gone Girl, and will star Ben Affleck as Nick Dunne, a man accused of murdering his wife after she goes missing the day of their fifth anniversary.

Gone Girl will mark Reznor and Ross’ third collaboration with Fincher.  The duo previously provided music for Fincher’s The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which picked up a Golden Globe nod, and The Social Network, which earned the musicians a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Original Score for their efforts.

Gone Girl will hit the big screen on October 3rd, 2014.
