The Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour Due to ‘Deep Rift Within Band’

Two days before they were set to hit the road, the Jonas Brothers decided to cancel all 19 shows on their fall tour. Their spokesman, Jesse Derris, stated “There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction.”

Reportedly, an argument over the weekend brought about the termination of the tour.

In recent years, Nick, Joe, and Kevin each pursued solo projects. Nick and Joe released solo albums, and Kevin starred in E!’s Married to Jonas reality series with his wife Danielle.

However, earlier this year, the band released new singles, “Pom Poms” and “First Time,” from their upcoming album V. The album was expected to be released at the end of this year, but now it is unclear if that is still planned.

The Jonas Brothers have not yet commented about the future of their band.
