Lost footage of The Beatles first ever concert in the United States has been found.
A new documentary, The Beatles: The Lost Concert, shows the fab-four performing at Washington Coliseum to a screaming crowd of over 8,000 fans on February 11, 1964, just two days after their famous Ed Sullivan Show appearance. The performance’s 12-song set includes the hits “She Loves You” and “I Saw Her Standing There.”
The documentary also includes interviews with rock stars Steven Tyler, Chuck Berry, Mark Ronson and others discussing the band’s historical significance of arriving in America.
The Beatles: The Lost Concert will open in theaters nationwide on May 17 and 22.
