Taking Back Sunday Singer Crushed By Falling Tree

Taking Back Sunday singer Adam Lazzara was injured this past weekend when a tree fell on top of him, shattering his leg.

According to TMZ, Lazzara was at a recording studio in rural Michigan Saturday when he decided to step outside for a cigarette on a windy day.  The tree apparently collapsed on him out of nowhere, trapping him underneath.

The rest of the band ran outside when they heard his calls for help but couldn’t lift the tree off him.  911 was called and the local fire department sawed the tree to pieces.  The singer was rushed to the hospital where doctors put a cast on his broken leg.

Lazzara is expected to be in the cast for the next 4-6 weeks.
