TMZ reported today that hip-hop artist Soulja Boy purchased a $55 million jet for his 21st birthday.
The artist known for the hits “Crank That(Soulja Boy)” and “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” has accumulated a net worth of $23 million during his four years in the business, according to CelebrityNetWorth.com.
So how did a rapper with only $23 million purchase a $55 million dollar jet?
He didn’t.
A spokesman for Soulja Boy states that what really happened is a billionaire friend of Soulja Boy let the artist take out his Gulfstream G5 jet to Vegas for his 21st birthday. Who that billionaire friend is has not yet been announced.
