Fox’s two-hour season finale of Empire will feature a handful of guest-stars tomorrow night, with the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Patti LaBelle, Rita Ora as well as Snoop Dogg.
The rapper shared a sneak peak of his guest spot, where he is shown playing himself and promoting a new album on Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) record label. While the press conference is fictional, the album he is promoting is real. Snoop’s 13th studio album, BUSH, is set to arrive May 12th. It was produced by Pharrell Williams and will be released by Columbia Records.
“Lucious Lyon — the man, the myth, the legend,” said Snoop Dogg in a sneak peek posted on his Facebook page Monday. “Lucious cut me on a piece of the action.”
Titled Die But Once/Who I Am, the episode sees Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Lucious on their way to forming a music-centered relationship. Meanwhile, Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) decides to flirt with the enemy, and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) is cooking up a plan of her own.
Be sure to catch Snoop perform his album’s first single “Peaches N Cream” on Empire’s Wednesday episode at 8/7c!
