Shawn Mendes has announced that he is releasing his second album, Illuminate, this fall.
The upcoming record is the follow-up to his 2015 debut Handwritten and will feature his latest single “Treat You Better.” The 17-year-old singer shared the news on his Instagram writing, “NEW ALBUM #IlluminateSept23 Preorder NOW on my site or on iTunes July 8th. Mendes will headline New York City’s Madison Square Garden on September 10th to preview the album for the first time ever.
Illuminate will be released on September 23rd. Pre-order will begin (Friday) July 8th, with fans receiving Mendes’ current single “Treat You Better” and a new song “Ruin” as instant downloads via iTunes.
