Rush Announces 40th Anniversary Tour Dates

Rush has announced the dates for their 40th anniversary North American tour!

According to a press release, the 34-city tour “will most likely be their last major tour of this magnitude.” It will kick off in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 8th and conclude in Los Angeles, California on August 1st, while stopping at four Canadian cities along the way. The set list for their 21st tour will include much of their ‘70s material, according to Billboard.

The 40th anniversary commemorates drummer Neil Peart who joined the band in 1974, though Rush formed in 1968. Together, the Canadian band has accumulated 20 gold and platinum studio albums. Tickets for the Rush: R40 Live Tour will go on sale starting January 30th in select markets at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
