Rihanna was hospitalized Monday night following the Met Costume Institute Gala.
The singer confirmed the news on Twitter after replying a fan who wrote, “”You been quiet all day.” Rihanna responded with a photo of her arm hooked to an IV in a hospital bed.
According to the website Media Takeout, Rihanna was hospitalized for “exhaustion” and “dehydration.” The site also stated that the singer was released after a short stay and flew back home to Los Angeles.
This morning Rihanna tweeted at 4am “My ride home NY days LA nights #itwuzreal.”
Is it an illness that is making her sick or excessive partying?
“Rihanna loves to party but this past month she’s gotten really out of control. She’s been drinking almost every day and talking about smoking weed a lot too,” a source told Star Magazine. “Everyone is telling her to slow down and think about therapy, or even rehab.”
Just last week the singer was seen throwing dollars on strippers and dancing with them. Rihanna tweeted the pictures saying, “Best stress reliever= $tripper$.”
