Coldplay will be joined by Beyoncé for the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Anonymous sources revealed the news to the entertainment site. It is presumed the two acts will sing the track “Hymn for the Weekend” from Coldplay’s latest album A Head Full of Dreams. The album version of the song features guest vocals by Beyoncé.
The “Crazy In Love” singer is no stranger to the Super Bowl. She performed during the halftime show back in 2013 for Super Bowl XLVII when the other former members of Destiny’s Child joined her on stage.
Bruno Mars is rumored to be one of Coldplay’s guests for the halftime show as well. Mars headlined the halftime show in 2014 for Super Bowl XLVIII. Phil Harvey, Coldplay’s artistic director, had hinted last month that there would be “special guests” for this year’s halftime show:
Super Bowl 50 will air Sunday, February 7th on CBS from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
