Red Hot Chili Peppers have revealed their new song from their 11th studio album, The Getaway, called “We Turn Red”.
The song is the band’s third new song to be released from their upcoming album – the previous singles being “Dark Necessities” and the album’s title track. The album is the Chili Peppers’ first to be released without Rick Rubin as producer since 1989’s Mother’s Milk.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Anthony Kiedis described their new material as being “as good as any songs we’ve ever written.”
Featuring production from Danger Mouse and Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, The Getaway will be out on June 17th via Warner Bros.
