Mark your calendars and set your DVR because BBC1 and Radio 2 will be broadcasting live from Buckingham Palace on June 4th to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee Concert.
The Diamond Jubilee concert will showcase music that has become popular throughout the Queen’s sixty year reign. Genres include pop, rock, classical, and musical theatre.
The current lineup for the concert consists of Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Dame Shirley Bassey, Annie Lennox, JLS, Madness, tenor Alfie Boe, Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Jules Holland and of course the Queen’s musical round table Sir Paul Mccartney, Sir John Elton and Sir Cliff Richard.
More artists are expected to be announced in the near future.

5,000 pairs of free tickets are going to be made available through a national ballot to residents of the United Kingdom.
