Police Discover Marijuana on Justin Bieber’s Tour Bus

There were illegal drugs found on board Justin Bieber’s tour bus Sunday (July 28).

Police officials found marijuana during a random search of the “Baby” singer’s tour bus as it attempted entry to the U.S. from Canada via the Ambassador Bridge.

Bieber was not on the vehicle at the time of the discovery. The 19-year-old singer was in Detroit performing at the Joe Louis Arena as part of his “Believe World Tour.”

Kenneth Hammond, chief officer and public affairs liaison for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit, said a police dog alerted officials to the presence of drugs on board. Drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana were found following a search.

The vehicle and its passengers were allowed to go. The bus driver was issued a civil penalty.
