Paul McCartney Reschedules Tour Dates on Doctors Orders
Following doctors’ orders, former Beatle Paul McCartney has rescheduled some U.S. dates on his world tour.
In a statement released on Monday, McCartney expressed, “I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I’m feeling great but taking my docs’ advise to take it easy for a few more days.”
The Grammy winning musician had cancelled his sold-out “Out There” tour dates in Japan and a concert in South Korea after being hospitalized for a viral illness.
McCartney is expected to make a complete recovery.
The tour is expected to resume in Albany, New York in July 5th. Concerts scheduled from June 14th through the 26th in Lubbock and Dallas, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana; Atlanta, Georgia; Jacksonville, Florida; Nashville, Tennessee; and Louisville, Kentucky have been rescheduled for October.
All tickets for the original shows will be honored on the new dates.
