Fans can’t get enough of the British boy band One Direction! Their 2012 tour of the United States is completely sold out but they will be back on the road in North American arenas during the Summer of 2013.
The group announced that their 2013 world tour will be a 25-city run and begin in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on June 13. One Direction will stop in New York City, Chicago, Denver, Montreal and Las Vegas before wrapping up in Los Angeles on Aug. 7.
“Our fans are simply the best in the world,” member Niall Horan says. “The support they have shown us has been incredible and we’re all so grateful to each and every one of them. We can’t wait to see everyone this summer, at Madison Square Garden and of course when we play our world tour in 2013.”
The group made U.S. chart history by scoring a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart, becoming the first U.K. act to see their debut album start in the top spot. One Direction (Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis) recently performed on “Saturday Night Live” on April 7 and appeared in an episode of “iCarly.”
Tickets go on sale Saturday April 21, at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com.
