“It’s the most diverse of the albums I’ve had.”
While on the red carpet at the 2016 CMT Artists of the Year – where she later picked up the Artist of a Lifetime Award – Shania Twain confirmed that she is working on a new album.
“This album is more diverse than any other album than any album I’ve ever done,” she shared.
“Not that I’ve done a ton of albums, but it’s the most diverse of the albums I’ve had. There’s a lot of variety there. But what I’ve learned about myself is as the songwriter of the songs, the emotion and the voice, ties it all together as one artist. It’s been a lot of hard work but the most fun hard work I think I’ve ever done so far.”
Twain has released four albums, which include her 1993 self-titled debut, 1995’s The Woman in Me, 1997’s Come on Over and 2002’s Up! Some of her greatest hits are “You’re Still the One,” “Any Man of Mine,” “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” as well as many others.
