As if the Lady Gaga opening sequence wasn’t enough to make us watch this Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards show comes word that Justin Timberlake WILL reunite with his boy band ‘NSync.
That’s right- J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will join their superstar colleague JT on stage for the first time in years. In fact, this will be the group’s first televised appearance together since performing a Bee Gees medley at the 2003 Grammy Awards.
It will be a busy night for Timberlake, who is tied with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for the most nominations. He is also set to receive the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award.
Does this mean an “official” ‘NSync reunion with a new album and tour? We can only hope.
The MTV VMAs air live this Sunday night from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
