More Grammy Performers Announced

The stars get bigger and bigger for the upcoming performances at the Grammys.

Previously announced acts such as Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift are now being joined by Coldplay, Rihanna and Paul McCartney.

The former Beatle, McCartney has already won 14 Grammys and is up for yet another this year in the Best Historical Album category for “Band On The Run.”

The Grammys will also pay special tribute this year to late Apple founder Steve Jobs, Brazil’s Antonio Carlos Jobim — of “Girl from Ipanema” fame — and US singer Diana Ross.

Additionally, Lifetime Achievement Awards will be given to the Allman Brothers Band,  Glen Campbell, Jobim,  George Jones, soul stars the Memphis Horns, Ross and spoken word performer Gil Scott-Heron, who died last year.

It was announced just yesterday that LL Cool J will serve as host.

The Grammys are being held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 12.
